If you are unable to check in/out your pet(s) within the designated check in and check out timings, please book an extra night for your pet’s stay!
1. Valid core vaccination required (not less than 14 days & not more than 12 months before check-in, or vaccine titer test – not more than 12 months, certifying your cat is eligible for boarding)
2. Your cat must be dewormed 1 week prior to their check in (Deworming pills must be prescribed by a Veterinarian).
3. The minimum age for boarding: 6 months old. Kittens must have completed 2 core vaccinations.
4. Submission of FIV & FELV test results required before boarding
5. From 1st September 2026, all boarding cats are required to have a valid AVS License number
Why Cat Owners Love Mutts & Mittens
Mutts & Mittens staffs are serious about taking good care of my cat. They take owner's feeding instructions very seriously and will adjust feeding portion and timing according to our cat's reaction. The staffs gave multiple updates a day video of playing with our cat, feeding her treats, end up my cat probably loves the staff more than likely me.

Mutts n Mittens have a wonderful and caring team who showered our community cat (our old gangster boy) with love and attention. It was palliative care for our old boy, Garfield, but we couldn't have put him in better hands. In those last few weeks, they never gave up on him and they melted his heart and his tough veneer. For that, we are forever indebted to them.
To anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring boarding place, I cannot recommend Mutts n Mittens enough.

Excellent first time experience for us 2 humans and old 11.5 yr old poodle and a 2 year old Shoodle furst time swimmer. Water is warm. Better to wear swim gear at least bottom half. Bring own dry towels and pee pad. Private space. Totally appreciate it. Shower for human not recommended but a quick change to dry clothes is sufficient.
I recently boarded my cat at Mutts and Mittens (Joo Chiat) for over 10 days in November, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I dropped her off, I felt completely at ease knowing she was in such capable hands. The team provided daily updates on her meals, playtime, and overall well-being at no extra charge, which was incredibly reassuring. I also appreciated how spacious and comfortable her room was, giving her plenty of room to relax and explore. It's clear that Mutts and Mittens prioritize the comfort and happiness of the pets in their care, and I will definitely be returning for future stays.
This is a very late post however I cannot recommend Mutts & Mittens highly enough! Our cat Tumi was 10 months old on his first stay and he’s boarded with them another time since, and both experiences were absolutely wonderful. The staff is incredibly affectionate, treating him with so much love and care. They went above and beyond to make sure Tumi felt comfortable and at home, which gave me such peace of mind while traveling. I was also able to watch him on the CCTV anytime I wanted.
What impressed me the most was how informative Catherine, the branch manager and the main caretaker Ye Aung were throughout both of his stays. They provided regular daily updates, sharing how he was doing, sending me pictures/videos of how much he ate, bowel movements and playtime with Tumi! It was clear they genuinely care about the well-being of every cat in their care.
The facility is clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed for feline comfort. During Tumi’s first stay end of November 2024, it took him three days to get used to the environment which Catherine told us to expect ahead of time is normal since it was his first time boarding. After that he seemed relaxed and happy. When dropped him off again over the NYE period he remembered the environment and warmed up quickly eating and having no bowl movements same day. He also needed his anal gland cleaned and medication applied daily, they were super helpful doing it every day for him and sending photos. It’s healed up so well. They also have this insect toy he is obsessed with.
If you’re looking for a trustworthy, loving, and professional place for your cat, I definitely trust Mutts & Mittens. We will be boarding Tumi again in March. Thank you to the amazing team for taking such great care of him and I also appreciate the after care follow.

My 6th time or so (lost count) boarding my tabby cat here. They take time to understand your cat personality and behavior. Recently my cat scratched his ear too much and they went above and beyond to clean his ear and eyes daily. They even helped to clip his nails without any further charge. I trust my cat with the caretakers there who are knowledgable about cats. Highly recommended.
My husband and I have boarded our 3.5yo Aby at Mutts & Mittens in Joo Chiat more than 5 times now across the last two years - from as short as a few days, to nearly one month at the longest. Catherine & team have been amazing with him, and from the start, we were impressed with how big the boarding rooms are, the cleanliness, and the 24/7 CCTV. They have been so accommodating when checking availability for us, and also are very diligent with his meal, treat, and playtime habits and updates. We trust the whole team is very caring of our Zeki, and always has his welfare in mind.
hi there, i had entrusted muts and mittens with my cat for 10 days due to travelling. i must say that musts and mittens did exceed my expectation of taking care of my cat well, they had send me all the updates of my cat that i needed leaving nothing out which im grateful for. along with the CCTV camera access thats left me feeling at ease that i could check on my cat whenever i needed. muts and mittens have really been wonderful at their job and i will definitely entrust my cat with them again when overseas no doubt! thank you very much muts and mittens for taking care of my cat !!!
My doggie Bambi stayed here for 9 nights in December 2024. She seem to love the room, as it was located right at the door so she could look outside and see what's happening with the staff and other dogs. CCTV view is from the top so you can see the entire room very clearly, even at night. Was sent short videos of her mealtimes and walks. Whatsapp messages were also replied very promptly. She had a wild time interacting with the other dogs during walk time. Could see that she was enjoying herself. Very well taken care of by the staff, while I was there, there were other dogs having assisted swims, can see that the staff there really cares for the doggies. As it was over Xmas, my dog also had a cute little magnet to bring home. It's definitely a great place to board your dog while you are away!
